Monique (Immelman) Muller started HANDSOME (Health and Safety, Operations Management and Environmental) Consulting in December 2005.
She was appointed at UCT as Chemical Safety Officer for the Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Departments in 2013 and as a Laboratory Health, Safety and Infrastructure Specialist in UCT's Science Faculty in 2021.
Monique’s educational qualifications include:
1) NEBOSH: International Diploma for OHS Management Professionals
2) BA in Disaster & Safety Management,
3) Masters in Science: Microbiology,
4) Masters in Environmental Management,
5) MBA (Masters in Business Administration).
Monique is a competent Ergonomics Risk Assessor, Health and Safety System Auditor and Operation Management System Auditor and Consultant. She is registered as a Graduate OHS Professional at SAIOSH.
Monique has more than 20 years experience in Occupational Health & Safety, Laboratory Operations, Infrastructure & Safety Management, Hazardous Waste Management & Disposal, Training and Consulting.
She has a good underlying knowledge of the ISO 45001 and how to set up an OHS management system and a OHS file for your specific setup.
